Fall Crops

In Florida, crops can be grown all year long, even in the fall and winter months.  Optimal planting times vary, depending on which part of the state you live in.  The first step to proper gardening is to get your soil tested to ensure your soil has the right amount of nutrients for the vegetables you are wanting to grow.  Contact your local Extension Office to assist you with soil testing and any other gardening question you may have.  You can either transplant or plant your own seeds.  Water and fertilize as needed, and keep your eye out for pests.  Edis.ifas.ufl.edu has tons of helpful publications as well. Below are several fall crops that you might enjoy.
